Dr. Amir Ghalehgol
Dr. Amir Ghalehgol (or Dr. G) is originally from Oxford, Mississippi but has lived in Georgia since the first grade and considers himself to be a Georgia native. He is a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia, School of Dentistry. During his time at MCG, he received awards of excellence in general dentistry. He continued his studies in a General Practice Residency at the University of Alabama in Birmingham and while there, he learned advanced techniques in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, as well as received extensive training in working with medically compromised patients.
Dr. Ghalehgol also enjoys facial rejuvenation and smile enhancements in the form of Botox and dermal fillers. Dr. G has trained with Allergan (the company that produces Botox), Restalyne, The Consultant Clinic in England, and highly acclaimed injectors across the US.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Ghalehgol enjoys many activities, including hiking in Georgia and the neighboring states (with Yonah mountain being his favorite), photography, and traveling. In his spare time, he also likes to volunteer at animal shelters and participate in movies and TV shows being filmed in the Atlanta area. Some of his favorite books include The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo trilogy, The Hunger Games trilogy, and The Alchemist.
Valerie - Office Manager
Valerie is originally from Washington state but moved to North Georgia after college. She has worked in dentistry for over 20 years and has been with this practice for 12 years. Valerie resides in Helen with her three children. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, mountain biking, playing golf, gardening, and reading.
Trena - Reception
Trena was born in Missouri, graduated from Dekalb High, and then married her high school sweetheart. She is the proud mother of three daughters, two stepdaughters, and a stepson. Trena has 15 grandchildren and enjoys spending time with them. When Trena's not at work, she enjoys tending to her yard, growing flowers, reading, and watching her grandchildren grow.
Christina - Dental Hygienist
Christina grew up in Albany, GA where she received her Dental Hygiene Degree from Albany State University in 2020. She has continued her educational experience with a variety of continuing education classes over the years. She values staying up to date on the latest treatment options in order to provide you with custom individualized treatment. With more than 23 years of hygiene experience, she is motivated as ever to create the best possible dental experience for you! In her free time, Christina, with her husband of 30 years, enjoys the outdoors, traveling, kayaking, and spending time with family and friends.
Amanda - Dental Hygienist
Marisa has a love for helping people. With over 25 years of experience, she is passionate about educating and motivating her patients toward optimal oral health. Marisa ensures that she provides exceptional care for her patients in a calm and caring manner. One of Marisa's favorite aspects of being a healthcare provider is having the opportunity to develop a personal relationship with her patients, allowing her to understand their specific dental needs. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, reading, and kayaking.
